Laura Knight majors in Communication concentrating in Public Relations at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Her minor is Fashion Merchandising and she also pursues a certificate in Graphic Design and Advertising. She has interned and worked in the field of visual, studio, and graphic arts in a variety of industries including music and fine arts and education. She is currently interning at Mill Street Loft in Poughkeepsie, NY. Upon graduating in May, she hopes to continue working in the creative and visual arts field in the New York area.
Hi! My name is Sara Shea and I have been fascinated by the world of magazines journalism since I was a little girl flipping through backed issues of ancient publications in my grandparent's basement. I am currently a senior Communication major with a focus in Journalism and a minor in Fashion Merchandising at Marist College. I have a love for photography and I find joy in interacting with others and learning from those around me. Having lived 18 years in northern Connecticut, taken a four year crash course in college life in Poughkeepsie, and experienced an eye opening four month studying abroad in Florence, Italy, I hope to report on the world of fashion as I see it. In the last five years I have gone from editing the Suffield High School year book to interning in the Fashion Department at Cosmopolitan and the Editorial Department at Vanity Fair. Upon graduation I hope to continue to use the skills I have developed at Marist to excel in the glamorous world of Kate White and Graydon Carter.
